Newly-opened Dang’s Cafe on Butternut Street is serving fresh, simple Vietnamese food at an affordable price.

Nhan Dang owns the restaurant but his sons, Duc, 29, and Anh, 26, and their friend, Phi Tran, 26, are running the show. Since the restaurant is so new, the three men work various roles to ensure business runs smoothly, safety requirements are met, inventory is replenished, and employees are paid. Duc Dang has no restaurant background, while Tran worked at a local Chipotle and Ichiban.
